Relevant, current expertise and a disciplined scope matter. Some assignments are consulting-only; others may progress to a report, deposition, or trial. You see the available context and choose whether to consider each matter.
Consulting and testifying roles
Consulting may include document review, technical analysis, chronology, issue spotting, and confidential strategy. Testifying work may add reports, deposition, or trial. Never accept work outside your actual expertise.
Independence and professional judgment
Money compensates time and expertise, not conclusions. Apply the same professional standard regardless of side, identify uncertainty, and decline unsupported positions.
How payment works
You set your own professional rates and terms. HIVE charges no listing fee, takes no commission from expert professional fees, requires no exclusivity, and never promises case volume.
